Yorkshire Ales

Beer cafe

Once upon a time in small town in East Yorkshire, Adrian Pettitt a fond lover of Yorkshire food and drink had a dream – to run a shop selling bottled beers from Gods Own County!

On 29th September 2012 the Yorkshire Ales Bottle Shop was opened selling bottled beers from small and emerging microbreweries around Yorkshire.

Over the next few years Adrian and his wife Vicky, sourced new and interesting bottled beers.  The bottles sold online across the UK and in the bottle shop in Snaith.  As the business grew Adrian and Vicky showcased their products across Yorkshire at different fairs, shows and festivals.

The Beer Café has evolved thanks to the feedback and requests from their customers.  The ale bar now has 4 cask ales, Brown Cow Sessions Pale Ale is a regular and the other three change constantly, There is also Yorkshire Cider and Stancill Bavarian Pilsner available on keg too.  There is an extensive range of Yorkshire Spirits from Masons, Slingsby, Whittakers, Locksley. Little Red Berry, Slow Motion and Brittains. In addition there is a fabulous Cocktail Menu that makes use of there local ingredients.

The snacks available from the bar also have a definite Yorkshire feel with Sea Salted and Hendersons Relish flavour Yorkshire Crisps!

Regular events held at the bar continue to promote quality local producers with Yorkshire Tapas nights, Gin Tastings, Gin Masterclasses & Cocktail nights.
